What made you both decide on the Montage in Laguna Beach for your engagement session? 
We have always loved spending time in Laguna Beach — especially getting gelato and enjoying it on the beach. We chose The Montage because of its location and beauty. Nestled on a bluff overlooking ocean, steps away from the beach, their grounds are beautiful and lush with color — there are just so many great spots to take pictures. Not to mention, it was also where Daniel proposed!

Why was doing an engagement shoot important to you as a couple?
We don’t have very many (good) pictures of ourselves, so we thought it would be a fun opportunity to have some professional pictures taken of just the two of us!

What was the one thing you were worried about most before the shoot?
Honestly, how we looked and being comfortable in front of the camera.

Did the engagement session make you more comfortable in front of the camera? 
Yes! Christopher and Alex did a great job of helping us relax and really enjoy the shoot! We are genuinely looking forward to having them there on our wedding day!

What advice can you give to future couples planning their engagement session? 
Have fun and laugh! Be in the moment and think about how happy you are to be together.
