A themed wedding brings a unique beauty through its effortless simplicity. With a breathtaking backdrop of towering pine trees and majestic mountains, the setting became a natural canvas for the ceremony.
Framed by sagebrush, fern greenery, and vibrant local wildflowers like lupine, daisies, and Indian paintbrush—thoughtfully arranged by The Wild Flora Farm —the ceremony site looked truly picture-perfect.
Guests were seated on rustic wooden benches, which harmonized seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The groom wore a classic brown three-piece suit with a white shirt and bolo tie, perfectly complemented by the groomsmen in matching brown waistcoats. The bride was radiant in a delicate lace dress, while the bridesmaids echoed the rustic, natural theme in rich rust and chocolate brown dresses.
Rustic, Elegant Wedding Reception
Before the reception, I had the chance to steal the bride and groom away for some intimate portraits. With a backdrop of mountains, sweeping meadows, and lush greenery, Idaho’s natural beauty set the scene for timeless photos filled with outdoor charm.
The reception took place in the main lodge, adorned with twinkling lights and rustic bunting. Tables were elegantly draped in beige linens, adorned with vibrant wildflowers and taper candles, while wooden chargers and amber goblets brought warmth to the color palette. The room overflowed with joy and laughter as guests listened to heartfelt speeches and shared in the couple’s first dances.
