We were beyond excited to be part of this breathtaking Crescent Bay Point Park Proposal in beautiful Laguna Beach. With panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the quiet charm of a hidden coastal park, this proposal couldn’t have been more perfect.

A Hidden Gem in Laguna Beach

Crescent Bay Point Park is perched on a bluff overlooking the sparkling tide pools and dramatic coastline of North Laguna. With lush grassy areas, scenic benches, and vibrant gardens, it’s a peaceful spot away from the crowds—making it an ideal location for a private, unforgettable proposal. 

Their Love Story

Ron and Sydney’s story started online, and in the beginning they spent a lot of time navigating a long-distance relationship. Sydney, originally from Alabama, eventually made the move out to California to be with Ron. Their connection was easy to see—it didn’t take long to feel how close they were, and how much they simply enjoy being around each other.

Throughout the session, they were laughing, holding hands, and fully present with one another. It was effortless to photograph them because they were so clearly in their element—just genuinely happy to be together and so in love.

The Proposal Setup at Crescent Bay Point Park

To make the moment even more special, Lifes Short Picnic created an elegant and heartfelt setup. A spectacular pink floral heart surrounded a glowing neon “Will You Marry Me?” sign, while candles and rose petals lined the pathway. As Ron led Sydney into the scene, he dropped to one knee and asked the big question. Her reaction was full of surprise, emotion, and pure joy.

Sydney looked stunning in a short, backless red dress, while Ron went for a casual and classic look with a white t-shirt and a cream jacket. After the proposal, they popped champagne and we captured some beautifully candid moments between them.

Crescent Bay Beach Engagement Session

Just steps away from the park is Crescent Bay Beach, a picturesque stretch of sand nestled between rocky cliffs. It’s quiet, scenic, and offers that classic Laguna Beach vibe with turquoise water and dramatic rock formations.

We made our way down to the beach for the second half of the shoot, an intimate engagement session. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the lighting was golden and soft—perfect for romantic portraits. Sydney slipped on a stylish white coat and went barefoot in the sand, making for some dreamy shots of the couple walking along the shoreline.

We captured genuine embraces, sweet smiles, and of course, close-ups of the stunning engagement ring.
