Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach is the perfect beach wedding destination to start a beautiful love story. It is by far one of the most exquisite wedding destinations in all of California. With canyons and a beach, Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach offers jaw-dropping scenery to complement the beautiful atmosphere. It also happens to be an award-winning Orange County venue that offers special full-service event coordination and design.

Being a special blend of classic and modern state-of-the-art ambiance, and sitting at the heart of southern California less than a mile from the main beach in Laguna, it is no surprise many couples pick Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach as a wedding location.

So, like others, you’re ready to take the leap and pick Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach as your wedding venue. But picking a wedding venue and planning everything at that wedding venue are two different parts of the wedding process.

So, here are all the steps you’ll need to take in order to successfully plan out your wedding at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach.

The Complete Steps To Planning Out Your Seven Degrees In Laguna Beach Wedding

Although these steps are listed in this order, that doesn’t mean you have to do them in this order. You will want to visit the space as soon as possible, but if you’re struggling with some of the other steps, put them aside for a while and come back to them later.

Visit The Space

It’s one thing to have ideas for a space. It’s another to go to that space and see what will work and what won’t. Since you’ll have access to an event coordinator, this will be easier to accomplish, but it’s still important to head to Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach at least once so you can see how everything will look and play out.

Pick A Venue At Seven Degrees In Laguna Beach

One of the great things about Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach is that it has multiple venue options for your wedding and reception. In fact, it has several! Let’s start with the Terrace.

#1 – The Terrace

If you’re considering an outdoor wedding, then the Terrace is a great option. You’ll be surrounded by greenery and an intimate wedding space beneath the open sky. It even leads to other spots in Seven Degrees, such as the Hillside Gardens.

#2 – The Gardens

It’s all in the name with this one. For a Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach wedding, the Gardens are an excellent choice. The Gardens are a private area surrounded by greenery and open sky. There’s a waterfall, pond, and it’s wired for lighting and sound. Overall, the Gardens is a good choice for a Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach wedding venue.

#3 – The Media Lounge

This is where you’ll hold your reception. It’s built so you can customize it to fit your wedding needs, and since it’s designed to be technologically up-to-date, it’s a great space to take advantage of for a fun-filled night after the wedding.

#4 – Other Parts Of Seven Degrees

Seven Degrees is not just a wedding events space. It also has a Front Gallery area for artist residences. In addition, it’s home to Studio 6, which is right in the middle of the venue and connects to many other parts of it.

The great thing about Studio 6 is it can be used for different purposes during a wedding day, such as a bar, VIP area, or bridal lounge.

Even the valet area, the Promenade, is its own unique space at Seven Degrees. It’s the welcome you want your guests to see as they first get out of their cars. It’s well-designed and artsy without going over the top, and it’s a great way to start a wedding at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach.

Develop A Theme And Design

Events venues like Seven Degrees are happy to accommodate custom requests and designs. You just have to know what they are first.

It’s likely you already have something in mind before contacting Seven Degrees, and that’s a good start. It’s also good you’re contacting Seven Degrees because one of the services they offer is event coordination.

So, part of planning a wedding at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach is organizing your ideas. The more you can clearly articulate what you’re looking for to your event coordinator, the more they can work with you to pull it off.

Work With Your Wedding Photographer To Find The Best Photo Spots

Another part of planning your wedding at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach is working with your wedding photographer. It’s even better if your wedding photographer has preferred vendor status with Seven Degrees, and I’m grateful to be included on that list.

Communicate to your wedding photographer what kind of photos you’re looking for so they can hunt for the right backdrops, angles, and lighting to make them come to life. Also, if your wedding photographer has shot there before, ask them what their ideas are. We’re more than willing to help!

For example, some of my favorite spots are the front area and the walkway leading up to Seven Degrees. In particular, I like to shoot large bridal party photos there. Also, there’s a viewing point that overlooks the ceremony I like shooting at too.

What’s so special about Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach is just how many different options and feels you can create with your photos. Within one day, you could get a natural and organic feel with the Gardens, a nightlife feel with the Media Lounge, a modern feel with the exterior, an artsy feel with Studio 6, and even some photos at Laguna Beach.

Truly, the photo opportunities at Seven Degrees are endless.

Determine The Wedding Essentials

There are some essentials for every wedding, whether it’s at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach or somewhere else. Those include things like your budget, guest list, and what sorts of amenities you’re looking for.

For reference, WeddingWire lists the cost at $18,000 to $27,000 for 100 guests, and they also list the guest capacity as being up to 200 guests.

After taking care of the venue costs, you’ll have to consider what to do about catering, music, floral arrangements, clothing, and more. One of the benefits of having a wedding at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach though is the venue offers comprehensive services, including those floral arrangements, decor, entertainment, catering, bar, and more.

So, deciding to go with Seven Degrees might not be the cheapest venue option, but it will take care of a lot of your planning.
