We’re really excited to share the images from Sara and Cazz’s Phuket wedding today. It was such a fun and memorable celebration, and Thailand was an incredible backdrop for it all. 

Though we’re based in Southern California, we love traveling (especially to Asia!), and are always up for jumping on a plane to photograph your destination wedding.

Sara & Cazz’s Phuket Wedding 

Sara and Cazz are from Slovenia, and were actually originally planning to be married in Los Angeles in May, 2026. However, with everything going on in the world at the time, traveling to the US was looking more and more difficult as their wedding date approached, so they decided to adjust their plans. 

Instead of an LA wedding, they opted for a March destination wedding in Phuket, Thailand. And to everyone’s very pleasant surprise, Chris was actually already planning to be in Asia that same week for another wedding in Bali! So he was able to rearrange his flights and still shoot Sara and Cazz’s wedding in Phuket. Things really couldn’t have lined up more perfectly.

Their wedding itself took place at the Barcelo on Coconut Island (or Koh Maphrao), which is a small island off the east coast of Phuket. The Barcelo is a beautiful beach resort with gorgeous accommodations, so it made for an amazing setting for this destination wedding. 

Sara and Cazz brought along their closest friends and immediate family to celebrate with them. It was a nice, intimate group, so they were able to fully enjoy their time with their loved ones while starting this new chapter together. 

They had a beautiful ceremony overlooking the water and mountains in the distance. The glow from the late afternoon sun made it feel even more romantic and intimate. 

Then, after taking some portraits on the beach and around the property, everyone settled into an incredible candlelit dinner right at the water’s edge. It was the perfect beach wedding, and every detail was gorgeous. 

Their wedding was so much fun. We were so happy to be there to photograph it!
